The information we collect
This is a simple, static website. We do not run user accounts, comments, a blog login or any e-commerce checkout, and we do not knowingly set our own tracking cookies. The only place we actively collect personal information is when you choose to contact us:
Table booking & enquiry form
When you submit the booking form on our Contact page, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address and your requested date, time, party size and any special requests. We use this information solely to respond to your booking or enquiry. The form is processed on our behalf by Web3Forms, which forwards your message to the restaurant by email. Please see the Web3Forms privacy policy for details of how they handle form submissions.
Contacting us directly
If you phone or email us, we will keep a record of that correspondence only for as long as needed to deal with your request.
Online ordering
Our “Order Online” links take you to our ordering partner, OrderYoYo, on a separate website (https://spiceroom.orderyoyo.co.uk). Any order you place there is handled under OrderYoYo’s own terms and privacy policy, not this one.
Embedded content from other websites
Our Contact page includes an embedded Google Map so you can find us easily. Google may set cookies and collect data when this map loads, in the same way as if you had visited Google Maps directly. We do not control that processing — please refer to Google’s privacy policy for more information.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers described above (Web3Forms for the booking form, and Google for the embedded map) where that is necessary to provide the website. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.
How long we keep your data
We keep booking enquiries and related correspondence only for as long as we need them to manage your booking and our normal restaurant operations, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it.
